Valid for 1 year in the area of your coarse, this qualifies you to:

1.) Dive under the direct supervision of a PADI Dive Master and a buddy in conditions of your training or experience.

2.) Plan, conduct and log open water (no decomp) dives with a PADI Dive Master and a buddy in conditions of your training or experience.

3.) Continue your dive training and complete the PADI Scuba Diver Course, or preferably the entire, full certification, PADI Open Water Diver Course.

Course Structure:

1.) Knowledge Development-

Establish principles and basic info that all divers need to dive safely, a brief intro to the basics of dive theory and view a short video on the basics of dive theory and skills that you will use later in the confined water section.

2.) Confined Water Dive:

Let the Fun Begin - Apply dive principles and learn and practice dive procedures and skills in a pool with a max depth of 3 meters.

3.) Open Water Dive:

Apply and further develop your knowledge and dive skills under an instructors supervision and guidance. Your open water dive will be conducted on the worlds southern most coral reef, home to over 1,200 species of fish and hard and soft corals.

Max depth for this dive will be 12 meters, and this is the depth you are allowed to dive after this qualification.

Dives include accommodation in a cabin, ensuite, dinner and breakfast, all dive kit and course plus certificate on completion, all entry fees and levies and return transport to Sodwana Bay.

After you complete your course, extra dives can be arranged at R 375.00 pp per dive.
